Pirate Cinema

Set in a dystopian near-future Britain where draconian copyright laws can cut off a household’s internet access for a year, this novel follows sixteen-year-old Trent McCauley, a passionate filmmaker who remixes downloaded footage into new creations. After his family loses their internet and is nearly ruined, Trent runs away to London where he joins an underground community of young squatters and anarchists fighting to free the Net for creative use by ordinary people.
